Earl A. Dyson, 52, of Ovid St., Seneca Falls, N.Y., passed away unexpectedly on Monday (May 7, 2018) at his residence.
Family and friends may call at the Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls on Saturday (May 12) from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Funeral services and burial in St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls, will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Earl was born in Seneca Falls, N.Y. on April 8, 1966 the son of Robert W. and Eileen Flock Dyson. He was a life resident of Seneca Falls and had been employed by Silgan Container of Lyons, N.Y. as a customer service representative. He was a member of St. Patrick’s Church, Seneca Falls and the Seneca Falls/Waterloo Knights of Columbus, Council #992. Earl was a “Big Car Person” who loved working on old cars, especially his 1955 Chevy Bel Air. He loved NASCAR but most of all he loved and enjoyed time with family, especially his grandson Isaac.
He is survived by his wife, Dawn Felice Dyson of Seneca Falls whom he married on May 7, 1988; two sons Robert (Mary) Dyson of Watertown, N.Y., Derek (Anne) Dyson of Geneva, N.Y.; grandson, Isaac Dyson; mother, Eileen Flock Dyson of Town of Tyre, N.Y.; sister, Mary (Tim) Fratus of Waterloo, N.Y.; two brothers Robert (Jan) Dyson of Barton, N.Y., Thomas (Shelly) Dyson of Seneca Falls, N.Y.; nine sisters-in-law Jane (Jerry) Carter of Alabama, Linda Robinson of Waterloo, N.Y., Judy (David) Mott of Stanley, N.Y., Shirley Tilley of Kansas, Patsy Mitchell of Virginia, Terry (Michael) Moore of State of Washington, Sandra (Donald) Covert of Seneca Falls, N.Y., Rose (Frank) Burnell of Geneva, N.Y., Annmarie Eckert of Waterloo, N.Y.; two brothers-in-law Robert Felice of Texas, Joseph (Deborah) Felice of Port Byron, N.Y.; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Earl was predeceased by his father, Robert W. Dyson; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Edith and Joseph Felice; his sister-in-law, Robin Fuller; brother-in-law, Gary Felice.
