Geneva City Council will meet in executive session later this afternoon to continue the discussion surrounding the search for a new City Manager.
The City Council will consider applications for the job and discuss the interview process. The meeting begins at 5:30 at City Hall in the 2nd floor conference room. The City Council has come under fire for not being transparent in the search process. 21-applicants have been graded and now the search committee will review the results and schedule telephone interviews with candidates for later this month. During those interviews, all candidates will get the same questions, but the committee could request specific questions for different candidates.
Former City Manager Matt Horn left the job in January.
