Canandiagua Fourth of July Parade Now Accepting Entries
2018 celebration welcomes community to participate
Canandaigua, N.Y. – The City of Canandaigua is hosting its annual Fourth of July Celebration on Wednesday, July 4, 2018. The celebration will include a parade, food vendors, and entertainment in Kershaw Park, concluding with a firework display in the evening (weather permitting). Applications to march in the 2018 parade are now available, and can be found online.
This year’s theme is “One Comm-Unity: Canandaigua Together” – celebrating the people within the community who call The Chosen Spot home. Community groups, local businesses, elected officials, and community members are welcome to participate in the celebration by building floats, playing music, entertaining in a walking group, or driving a car during the parade. Judges will award trophies to entries with the most spirit, best floats, outstanding marching groups and more.
The deadline to apply for participation in the parade is June 15, 2018.
