The investigation into the cause of the house explosion in the town of Waterloo Monday continues.
52 year old Raymond Wiggins, of Geneva, was working on waterlines with a torch at the Moore Street residence causing a small explosion and then the fire. Two teenagers were inside the home when the explosion occurred but escaped injuries. Wiggins was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment of a burned hand and a laceration. A Geneva firefighter was treated at Strong Memorial Hospital and has been released.
The home was a total loss. The Red Cross is assisting the family.
