The City of Auburn’s annual water quality report gives tap water a passing grade.
The report says drinking water met all state standards, and the contaminants that were found were below the unsafe level set by the health department. Staff at the city’s water treatment plant regularly test finished water for over 100 contaminants. The report also says the presence of contaminants in the drinking water doesn’t indicate a health risk.
