A 48-year-old Trumansburg man faces numerous charges after he allegedly arranged to have a shipment of about 25 pounds of marijuana and 2.5 pounds of hashish delivered to a residence in the town of Romulus.
As Timothy Coffey attempted to retrieve the items, he was taken into custody by Seneca County Sheriff’s Deputies. The street value of the drugs is estimated to be between 125 and 150-THOUSAND dollars. When arrested, Coffey was in possession of a small amount of marijuana.
He was jailed on charges of attempted criminal possession of a controlled substance and marijuana, both felonies, along with a misdemeanor charge of criminal possession of marijuana.
