A Montour Falls man is in Steuben County Jail after he allegedly called the Rock Bottom BBQ restaurant Saturday night and threatened to “shoot up the place.”
Michael Jenkins reportedly called the bar to speak to an employee. Jenkins was told repeatedly not to call the establishment and he wasn’t allowed there. Jenkins ignored those demands and showed up at the restaurant, but was denied entry until police arrived. He was found to be intoxicated and in possession of a loaded .45 caliber pistol with ammunition. Jenkins was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, stalking and making a terroristic threat, all felonies, along with DWI.
Jenkins could face additional charges for an incident that took place earlier Saturday at a residence in Schuyler County.
