Auburn Police say two 16-year-olds are being charged with arson. A building on Perrine Street, which had been empty for several years, erupted into flames late Saturday morning. Firefighters were on the scene for much of the day, and shut down traffic on Perrine between North and State Streets.
Investigators say the two teenage boys were seen coming out of the building just before the fire was reported. The building was damaged, but police say no one was injured.
