New charges have been filed by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office against the four people arrested earlier this month for passing counterfeit 50-dollar bills in the area.
18-year-old Candice Smith, 20-year-old Essence House, and 20-year-old Christopher Sherman, all of Rochester, and Arthur Blay, of Concord, New Hampshire, were initially arrested on April 11th for distributing counterfeit money at the Dollar General store in Sodus. Now, the four are accused of doing the same at the Dollar General and Rite Aid stores located on Route 104 in Williamson and at Speedy’s gas station in Sodus.
All four were sent back to Wayne County Jail on charges of criminal possession of a forged instrument and conspiracy. Additional charges are pending.
