The Geneva Area Chamber of Commerce held its most recent Business After Hours Networking Mixer at CCN International on Wednesday, April 11, 2018. Located on Lehigh Street in Geneva, CCN is locally owned and operated and has been designing custom, high-end office furniture for over 40 years. CCN has been a member of the Geneva Chamber for 20 years and was also named the Business of the Year in 2014.
More than 60 attendees came out for the event, including local and regional business contacts and community partners. The event featured tours of the facility, where guests had the opportunity to see the production line first-hand and learn about the furniture building process. In addition, the event included a presentation from company Owner and President Dick Conoyer, who shared about the history of the business and the various companies that the team has completed projects for, including Apple Inc., the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and Harvard University.
Business After Hours Networking Mixers are held on the second Wednesday of each month from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The purpose and goal of these events is to help increase awareness of Chamber Members by offering guests the opportunity to visit and experience the properties and to see or sample the products or services of each, reinforcing the Chamber’s buy local, shop local, and support local efforts.
