The Girl Scout cookie campaign is over, and Jaime Alvarez of the Girl Scouts of NY Penn Pathways said on Monday’s Finger Lakes Morning News it was very successful.
On a more serious note, Alvarez talked about the 5th annual Youth Homeless Experience, which this year will be held at Falcon Park in Auburn.
In addition to learning about being homeless, the girls and boys will also experience the feeling of being hungry.
The Youth Homeless Experience is open to all youth in grades 2 through 12. The cost is $5 and you can get more information and register at the Girl Scouts of NY Penn Pathways website.
The deadline to register is April 27.
