Two Corning men are under arrest, after police say they stumbled upon a mobile methamphetamine lab while investigating a domestic incident.
Authorities say 30-year-old William Griffin assaulted a woman Thursday morning with a hockey stick, sending the victim to the hospital.
Police then say they caught Griffin and a passenger, 25-year-old Jacob Woodworth, with a one pot-style meth lab inside their car during a traffic stop on Bridge Street.
Both Griffin and Woodworth have been charged with 3rd-degree unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine.
Griffin also faces 2nd- and 3rd-degree assault, as well as 3rd-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
Both men are being held in Steuben County Jail on $50,000 bail.
