Congressman John Katko’s campaign announced Tuesday the New York State Reform Party has endorsed his bid for re-election in the 24th Congressional District. Katko will be on the Republican, Conservative, Independence and Reform ballot lines.
Meanwhile, the Citizen reports the Indivisible Project, a nationwide anti-Trump group, has endorsed Democrat Dana Balter’s bid to challenge Katko.
The Syracuse University professor is facing Bill Bass for the party nomination, and could also face former Syracuse mayoral candidate Juanita Perez Williams in the Democratic party primary. Perez Williams is trying to collect the 1,250 signatures needed to get on the June 26th primary ballot.
