A 40-year-old Auburn woman has been charged with driving while intoxicated in connection with an accident that occurred early Saturday morning that led to multiple cars catching on fire in Union Springs.
June Heath was driving on Route 326 around 1 a.m. when he car went off the road and rolled into the parking lot of the Oakwood Service Center. Her car then caught on fire, which caused a half-dozen of the surrounding cars at the service station to also catch on fire. Union Springs and Aurelius firefighters responded.
In addition to DWI, Heath was charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
