Martin K. Reynolds, 73, of Geneva, formerly of Port Gibson, passed away on Tuesday (March 20, 2018), in Unity Hospital, Rochester.
There will be no prior calling hours. A Memorial Service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday (March 24, 2018) in the Chapel of the Presbyterian Church in Geneva. The Rev. Deborah Lind-Schmitz, Pastor, will officiate. Military Honors will be accorded at the Church.
Memorial contributions, in his memory, may be made to the Wayne County Humane Society.
Martin was born in Hackensack, N.J. and has resided in this area most of his life. He was the son of the late George Alan and Jean Britton Reynolds. He served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He formerly owned the Port Gibson Trading Post in Port Gibson and later worked at DDSO. He was a member, past commander, and chaplain of the Palmyra V. F. W. Post. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing and he loved to tell stories.
Martin is survived by his brother, Britton (Bonnie) Reynolds of Palmyra; sister, Ellen Reynolds of Geneva; two nieces Suzan Reynolds and Michelle Reynolds-Fillion; most importantly his two feline friends Nordberg and The Little Guy.
He was predeceased by his sister, Suzan Reynolds.
