Her life was based on serving others. Doris had worked for the Delevan family for several years, and as a caretaker for the late Helen With. She was an avid reader, enjoyed making friends all over the globe via Facebook and related games, spending time with her four-legged companion, Quincy, and loved collecting frogs and gnomes.
She is survived by her daughters Melissa L. (Kent) Schod of Orrtanna, PA, and Elizabeth A. DeLooze of Ovid; granddaughter, Grace Elisabeth Schod; brothers Robert T. Capper of Corry, Pa. and David W. Capper of Glenella, Queensland, Australia.
Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Willis A. DeLooze in 2015; and by a brother, Charles Capper.
