VISIT YOUR DENTIST!
It’s important to schedule checkups throughout the year and March is a great month to schedule a visit to the dentist. Only 64 percent of adults ages 18 – 64 visited a dentist in 2015 according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Yet, adults should see their dentist at least once a year, and preferably twice a year if you are prone to cavities and gum disease.
The best time to schedule an appointment is in the early spring or early summer to avoid the back to school rush. You may also want to schedule your visit prior to November and December so you can avoid the crowded waiting rooms filled with patients who are seeking to use their health benefits before the end of the year.
