A “National School Walkout” will be held Wednesday across the country as a way for students, teachers, school administrators and others to honor victims of last month’s school shooting in Parkland, Florida that killed 17. Penn Yan Superintendent Howard Dennis says students at the Academy have something planned.
Dennis says there will be some comments offered as well.
Dennis says the students that choose to participate will be supported by the administration and with no fear of consequences. Tomorrow, we will tell you how the middle school plans to show their respect to the 17 victims.
