“Tom Reed for Congress” announced Thursday the New York State Independence Party has endorsed Tom Reed in his campaign for re-election to the U.S. House of Representatives.
According to the Party, the endorsement speaks to Tom Reed’s commitment to bringing people together to get things done for hardworking families throughout the Southern Tier, Finger Lakes and Western New York.
“Tom Reed is a common-sense leader who is standing with us and remaining accessible to all of his constituents,” said Frank MacKay, chairman of the New York State Independence Party. “We have supported Tom in his four previous races for Congress and we are proud to endorse him again this year.” “It is an honor to receive the endorsement of the New York State Independence Party,” said Tom Reed. “During my time in Congress, I have worked to seek unity and common ground solutions for the issues facing our communities. Together we will continue to fight to improve the lives of the hardworking families across our district.”
Reed was first elected to Congress during a 2010 special election.
