A 39-year old Clyde man turned himself in to Auburn Police on Monday for his role in a burglary last May.
Danny Hollier allegedly forced his way into Auburn Chainsaw & Mower and stole several pieces of merchandise. A short time after the burglary Hollier was involved in a high speed pursuit with Elbridge State Troopers before dumping the stolen pickup behind Weedsport High School. The stolen property was located in the bed of the pickup. The subsequent investigation resulted in a DNA match linking Hollier to the burglary.
After consulting with his attorney and the Cayuga County District Attorney’s Office, Hollier agreed to turn himself in. He was arraigned and released from Auburn City Court and then arrested on a bench warrant from the Town of Elbridge court.
