A Farmington resident has been charged with grand larceny after raising money through a GoFundMe account and then keeping the money.
According to Canandaigua Police, back in August, Jordan Fogg started an account on the fundraising website under the guise of raising money to provide an individual with a new, motorized scooter. The 24 year old raised over 12-HUNDRED dollars, but the money was never turned over to the individual for which it was intended for. Fogg was issued an appearance ticket.
Anyone that may have donated to the GoFundMe page titled “Jimmy’s Scooter” in August and September should contact Officer P.J. Mastracy at (585) 396-5035
