Thursday night’s Auburn City Council meeting was brought to you by the number three.
Councilors voted to hold a third public hearing on revisions to the city’s zoning code. Next week’s hearing was prompted by concerns raised about the proposed changes at the last public hearing.
City Clerk Chuck Mason said on Friday’s Finger Lakes Morning News staff responded to the concerns by restoring the specialized commercial district along South Street and reestablishing the industrial park zoning district in the northwest part of the city.
Council also voted to hold a third public hearing next week on how the city should use the Community Development Block Grant funds.
Votes on both the zoning code revisions and the city’s annual CDBG action plan are scheduled for the February 15th meeting.
