UPDATE: The RIT student accused of helping her father murder her mother in Corning has pleaded not guilty to 2nd-degree murder.
20-year-old Karrie Neurauter, along with Lloyd Neurauter, allegedly killed 46-year-old Michele Neurauter inside Michele’s apartment, then tried to stage the murder as a suicide.
Karrie Neurauter remains in Steuben County Jail without bail, while Lloyd Neurauter is being held in a New Jersey jail pending extradition.
Two people have been arrested in connection with the murder of a Corning woman that occurred last August. Corning Police immediately labeled the death as suspicious and started an investigation. On Thursday, police announced they made two arrests in the case after executing search warrants at locations in Syracuse and North Brunswick, New Jersey. Here’s Corning Police Chief Jeff Spaulding.

Steuben County District Attorney Brooks Baker said the crime scene was staged to look like a suicide, but their investigation has since proved otherwise.
Lloyd Neurauter is being held in a New Jersey jail pending extradition and Kerrie Neurauter is being held in Steuben County Jail without bail.
