Five different locations in Wayne and Seneca Counties had search warrants executed at them Wednesday morning as part of an extensive Welfare and Medicaid Fraud investigation that has been underway for approximately one year.
45 members from the Seneca and Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, Waterloo Police, the Seneca County Department of Social Services and the IRS Criminal Investigation Unit all took part in the execution of the five warrants and the collection of evidence.
The locations included QD Tax Prep and Accounting and F-n-A’s Rhythm and Booze Pizza in the village of Waterloo, as well as K&R Catering on Powerdly Road in Waterloo. Other locations included Prospect Street in Savannah and State Route 89 in Butler.
The investigation is continuing at both the federal and local level.
