Auburn City Council will not vote tonight on the new zoning code regulations. City staffers went back to poring over every word in the first revision of the code since the 90s after citizens complained of the effect of some changes at last week’s meeting.
City Clerk Chuck Mason said on Friday’s Finger Lakes Morning News some were concerned about plans for the South Street historic district.
Others opposed the rezoning of the Technology Park area, leading council to decide to keep the status quo for both areas. It’s expected council will vote on the final draft of the zoning code at a meeting in January.
