Another defendant has been sentenced for her role in the manufacturing of methamphetamine in the Finger Lakes.
39 year old Wendy Kennedy of Beaver Dams, was convicted of conspiracy to manufacture and distribute meth. She received a 2 year prison sentence this week. Prosecutors say Kennedy provided her brother, Scott Kennedy, with equipment and materials, including pseudo-ephedrine, with the knowledge and intent he would use them to manufacture the drug. She also let him use her property in the town of Dix to make meth.
Scott Kennedy distributed large amounts of the drug with, and to people, throughout Schuyler, Steuben and Chemung Counties over a four year period. He was sentenced last month to 19 years in prison.
Two Bradford men were sentenced for their roles earlier this month. 32 year old Jared Mendez was sentenced to 46 months in prison and 48 year old Terry Champion was sentenced to 63 months behind bars.
