Harry James Conaway, age 77, passed away on Sunday, (December 10, 2017) at Newark-Wayne Community Hospital.
Friends and family may call on Thursday, (Dec.14) from 4 – 7 p.m. at Weeks-Keysor Funeral Home, 5 Phelps St., Lyons, NY 14489. Funeral Service will be at 10 am on Friday (Dec.15) at the funeral home. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.

Harry was born on June 22,1940, a son to the late Orvis and Blanche Pelton Conaway. He worked for the Town of Lyons for 37 years, the last 12 years as Highway Superintendent. He was a member of the Wayne County Highway Association and American War Dads. He loved wintering in Florida with his wife Wanda and there he was a member of the RCC Club. He was a Buffalo Bills fan, Nascar fan, but most important to him was his loving wife, his children and his 3 special grandsons.
Harry is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Wanda; daughter, Rhonda Lee of Alabama; son, Harry, Jr., (Julie) Conaway of Lyons; grandchildren Rickie, Jr.,( Morgan) Lee of Alabama, Harry, III and Hunter Conaway of Lyons; brothers Richard (Tracy) Conaway of Lyons and Thomas (Yvonne) Conaway of Lyons; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Sheila (Roger) Larwood of Marion; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
