Charles F. Calabro, 93, formerly of Geneva, passed away on Tuesday, (November 7, 2017) in Elcor Nursing Home in Horseheads, N.Y.
There will be no prior calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday (Nov. 13) at 10:00 a.m. in St. Stephen’s Church, 48 Pulteney St., Geneva, NY. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery.

Charles was born in Geneva. He was the son of the late Thomas and Josephine Calabro. Charles lived most of his life in Geneva. He served his country during WWII in the U.S. Navy. He was employed at the Seneca Army Depot for 36 years before retiring. Charles enjoyed golfing, was a member of the Winnek Post #396 American Legion, and a member of Our Lady of Peace Parish.
He is survived by his daughter, Karen (Terry) Reed of Elmira, N.Y.; and two grandchildren Brooke and Stacey Reed of Elmira, N.Y.
He was predeceased by his wife, Frances; and son, Thomas Calabro.
