A ribbon cutting ceremony was held Tuesday to celebrate completion of the Hope Center in Penn Yan. The new community services center houses the Keuka Food Pantry, which started serving clients late last month. Pro Action CEO Laura Rossman says support for the project was overwhelming.
Rossman says they’ve even had support from a regional grocery chain.
The Keuka Food will be open 15 hours per week, 60 hours per month, a dramatic increase from its former maximum capacity of one distribution per month. For more on their hours, visit the Facebook page of Yates Pro Action.
