Auburn Police Detectives are waiting to get back autopsy results as they continue to investigate the discovery of a woman’s body Monday in an empty section of Fort Hill Cemetery. The body was found by an employee who was doing some mowing. They know who the woman is but a not releasing a name pending a full notification of next of kin. Auburn Police Chief Shawn Butler declined comment on the discovery of a body found mid-day in the southeast section of Fort Hill Cemetery . Butler indicating it’s too early in the investigation to say anything. There is a heavy police presence at the scene.
