The money is in the bank and now they are ready to spread it around. The City of Geneva has received 600-thousand dollars in funding from the New York State Downtown Revitalization Initiative that can be put towards Adaptive Reuse of commercial properties within the DRI Study Area.
The City’s Sage Gerling says there will be two pools of money . One would provide funds to bring new life to empty spaces.
There will also be money available to freshen up building facades .
Applications are due on or before November 15th. We link you to the City’s website for applications and program guidelines.
