On September 19 State Troopers arrested 33-year old Stacey Davenport of Moravia for driving while intoxicated, operating a motor vehicle with a BAC greater than .08%, drinking alcohol in a motor vehicle on a highway, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, inadequate plate lamp, criminal possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance not in original container and unlawful possession of marijuana.
Davenport was stopped on South Main Street in the Village of Moravia for having no plate lamp. She was placed under arrest after failing multiple standard field sobriety tests. She was also found in possession of an open can of beer, a baggie containing marijuana, a glass smoking device containing marijuana residue and eight pills. Davenport was transported to SP Auburn where she provided a breath sample of .08% BAC.
Davenport was issued uniform traffic and appearance tickets all returnable to the Village of Moravia Court on October 3, 2017.
