State Police say a Jordan man had a blood alcohol level of .20 on Friday when he left his car on the railroad track in Brutus.
Troopers arrested Robert L. Long, 42, of Jordan, New York for driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated, stopping/standing/parking on a highway, driving through a railroad gate and unlawful possession of marijuana.
Troopers were dispatched to a report of a car/train accident on Pump Road in the Town of Brutus. Upon arrival, Troopers observed a heavily damaged vehicle and two occupants outside of the vehicle, uninjured. Long was placed under arrest after failing multiple standard field sobriety tests. He was also found in possession of marijuana. Long was transported to SP Auburn for processing, where he provided a breath sample of .20% BAC.
Long was issued uniform traffic tickets and an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Brutus Court on September 19, 2017.
