Introducing A New STEPS Team Member
Caroline has been recreating in the Finger Lakes since 1992. She and her husband Michael achieved a long held goal to move to the area in December (2016) and have settled in Interlaken. Caroline is an artist and has a long history of working with community arts engagement to foster connection, creativity and well-being. Since 2000, she has been working with medical patients, as an art therapist and counselor, offering programs and conducting research with well-being programs that combine mindfulness skills learning and creative expression. Caroline has been assigned to the STEPS program through her service in AmeriCorps. Caroline and Michael have lived in rural communities in the past, in Cape May County New Jersey and New Iberia, Louisiana and are happy to resettle from Philadelphia to rural South Seneca with all its lakeside beauty, historic towns, woodland, wildlife and farms.

Farm to Fork Fondo
STEPS Staff members and residents were involved in running an aid station this past Sunday for a Wrenegade Sports Farm to Fork Fondo. Our Station was on the longest route and bikers stopped for water and snacks. The specialty snack that we served was provided by our own Taste of Wine Country. The bikers were treated to a goat cheese and cherry bruschetta. The goat cheese being from Lively Run Dairy Farm in Interlaken. Our new team member Caroline designed the fun hats that we all wore. If events like this interest you be sure to check out Wrenegade Sports website here.
Romulus has a few positions open for the up coming school year. They can be found here.
