Dundee, Penn Yan Football Players to Represent Bills in 7 on 7 Tournament

For the second straight season, the Lyons High School Player Development 7 on 7 all star football team will be attending the National Championship in Cleveland, Ohio July 11th - 14th.

The squad, which features Dundee's Jon Huber and Colin Prior, along with Penn Yan's Alex Madigan,  participated in the regional tournament Saturday and defeated Batavia in the semi-finals 41-14.  The finals were a rematch of last year's title game versus Buffalo.  Again, the Lyons team came out on top with a convincing win with a score of 44-19.

With this win, the squad will move on and represent the Buffalo Bills at the nationals. The team is coached this year by Sheldon Gibson, Shawn Brace and Matthew Camacho from Dundee.

All 32 NFL teams will be entered into a bracket divided by AFC East/West and NFC East/West.  All players and coaches will fly to and from Cleveland and enjoy a full itinerary of tours and NFL guest speakers during the weekend.  All travel, food, accommodations and uniforms come at no cost to participants.

The tournament will be televised on the NFL Network at the end of July.
