Here is what we're looking for:
Morning show cohost/assistant producer
Fingerlakes Radio Group is a small market cluster staffed by a group of passionate professionals who believe in having fun, and being local. Ours is a family atmosphere, and we're looking to add to our family.
An opening is immediately available for a morning Cohost and assistant producer on our adult contemporary morning show. The position is currently part-time, 15 hours/wk (6-9am M-F) with the intent of it becoming full-time. This is a great opportunity for those looking to break into or get back into broadcasting.
The ideal applicant would be familiar with the lifestyle and pop culture topics of our core AC demographic, be proficient at using social media, have a great attitude and sense of humor.
Eventual duties would include working with the program director/cohost to develop localized content for the show, engaging in long range planning, putting updates on our company web site, being available for appearances and remotes, and assisting the company promotions director. Also needed, the ability to use Photoshop, video and audio editing software, and to operate radio station equipment.
