Romulus - Theresa M. Groff, 57, of State Route 89, Romulus, N.Y., died Tuesday (March 12, 2013) at Geneva General Hospital, Geneva, N.Y.
Funeral services, under the direction of Doran Funeral Home, Seneca Falls, N.Y., will be at the convenience of the family. There will be no prior calling hours.

Theresa was born in Elmira, N.Y. on October 19, 1955 the daughter of Richard and Theresa Dana Van Bencoten. She had resided in the town of Varick for the past 10 years, moving from Elmira, N.Y. She was employed as a Pattern Administrator at Gould's Pumps of Seneca Falls. Teri enjoyed her family, cooking, her dog Isabella, and life on the lake. She had a warrior spirit and an amazing outlook on life and was an inspiration to all. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Douglas Groff of Romulus, N.Y. whom she married on October 13, 2012; two sons, Daniel R. and Stacy Robbins, Susquehanna, Penn., David M. Robbins and Lejla Alagic, Cicero, N.Y.; her mother, Theresa Dana Van Bencoten, Southport, N.Y.; one granddaughter, Alexa Robbins; three sisters, Judy and John Sykes, Chemung, N.Y., Phyllis Danna, Southport, N.Y., Margie and Scott Arnold, Pine City, N.Y.; several wonderful nieces and nephews.
Theresa was predeceased by her father, Richard Van Bencoten.
