Geneva - Ruth A. Moore, 86, of William St. passed away Tuesday (March 12, 2013) at home surrounded by her family.
Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday (March 15) at the McGuigan & Bero Funeral Home 45 High St. Geneva. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday (March 16) in the funeral home. The Rev. Phil Tennies will officiate. Burial will be in Sand Hill Cemetery.

Ruth was born on January 5, 1927 in Geneva the daughter of the late Malcolm and Carrie Shires Allen. She retired after many years as the Credit Manager from the Geneva Medical Associates. Ruth loved animals, gardening and quilting and crafting.
She is survived by her children, Bruce (Grace) Moore of Geneva and Barbara Moore of Ballston Spa, N.Y.; grandchildren, Bruce (Amanda) Moore Jr. of Geneva and Loraine (Jeff) Luongo of Geneva; two great-grandchildren, Hailey and Nicholas Luongo; sister, Virginia (Edward) Smith of Geneva; brothers, Thomas (Janice) Allen of Geneva and Kenneth (Dorothy) Allen of Geneva; several nieces and nephews.
Ruth was predeceased by her husband, James J. Moore; sisters, Esther Hayes, Bertha Dudash, Helen Dougherty, Bernice Holland; brother, Malcolm "Bud" Allen.
