Ruth Imogene Sniffen CANANDAIGUA - Ruth Sniffen, 98, of Greenbriar Drive, passed away on March 3, 2013, at Elm Manor. Ruth was a 1937 Syracuse University Nursing School graduate. The widow of Edwin Sniffen, who died in 2004, she is survived by her children, Edwin "Ted" (Phyllis) Sniffen of Syracuse, Richard (Cindy) Sniffen of Wilmington, N.C., David Sniffen of Arlington, Va. and Kathleen (Michael) Sweeney of Canandaigua; grandchildren, Greg and Debra Sniffen, Richie and Jennifer Sniffen, Michele Mercado and Kelly Sweeney; and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Saturday from 1 until 3 p.m. at Fuller Funeral Home, 190 Buffalo St., Canandaigua, where funeral services will begin following visitation at 3 o'clock. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
