James L. Haight CANANDAIGUA - James Haight, 70, of County Road 17, passed away on Feb. 11, 2013, at his home, with his loving companion of 33 years, Shirley Reifsteck, and family. Jim retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 30 years as a mail clerk. He was a member of Canandaigua Moose Club and Canandaigua Masonic Lodge. Jim served as an emergency medical technician with Canandaigua Emergency Squad and was a lead scuba diver with the Canandaigua Police Deppartment. He also served as fire chief for Erina Hose Company. Jim enjoyed boating, hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles and being a pit crew member for his brother Big John Haight's antique midget race car. He is survived by his daughters, Barbara (Allen Lynn) Haight and Kathleen (Chad) Summers; stepdaughter, Robin Bennett; stepson, Ronald (Casandra) Stringham; eight grandchildren; four great-grandsons; brother, Robert (Wanda) Haight; sisters, Anne (Dean) Wells, Sandra (Anna May Cooper) Haight and Mary (Roy) Russell; and several nieces and nephews. Jim was predeceased by his daughter, Laurie Ann Haight; brother, Big John Haight; and parents, Henry and Anne Haight. Friends may call on Tuesday, February 19, from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. at Fuller Funeral Home Inc., 190 Buffalo St., Canandaigua. A 3 p.m. memorial Mass will follow at St. Mary's Church, 95 N.
