WEEDSPORT | Beverly Scarbrough, 71, of Hillside Lane, Weedsport, died Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013 at University Hospital, Syracuse. The daughter of Carl and Virginia Ruetsch Weber, Beverly was born May 24, 1941 in Auburn. For more than 20 years, she was employed with Meadowbrook Golf Course. She had also previously owned and operated the former Country Canal Store. Beverly is survived by her four sons, Robert Scarbrough and his wife, Susan, of Weedsport, William Scarbrough and his wife, Karen, of Auburn, Jeffrey Scarbrough, of Pennsylvania, and Daniel Scarbrough and his wife, Cynthia, of North Carolina; nine grandchildren; a sister, Virginia (David) Zoll, of Penneville, and a brother, Carl (Kristy) Weber, of Moravia. Mrs. Scarbrough was predeceased by a daughter, Sherry Lynn Scarbrough, in February 1963. Funeral services were held privately in White Chapel Funeral Home, 2719 Erie Drive, Weedsport.
