MORAVIA | Rhonda L. Granger, 46, of Cayuga Lakes Estates, Moravia, died Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013, at the Cayuga Medical Center, Ithaca, after a brief illness. Rhonda was born July 15, 1966 in Auburn, a daughter of Paul and Shirley Baier Granger. She was a former resident of Auburn and Poplar Ridge and had lived in Moravia the past 15 years. She was employed at Clear Edge Filtration and as a self-employed cleaner. She attended First Baptist Church of Moravia and helped in the kitchen frequently as the coffee maker. Rhonda is survived by her son, Timothy Horner and her daughter, Charmaine Horner, at home; father, Paul (Phyllis) Granger, of Phelps; mother, Shirley Granger, of Moravia; three sisters, Barbara Morris, of Auburn, Tracie Johnson, of California and Heather (Ron) Harrison, of Ithaca; sister-in-law, Elaine Granger, of Auburn; stepsister, Sherry Kelsey, of Waterloo and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother, Billy Granger, in 2007. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, 2013, in the First Baptist Church of Moravia with calling hours preceding the funeral service from 1 to 3 p.m. at the church. Spring burial will be in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Union Springs. Friends wishing to may contribute to Four Town First Aid Squad, Moravia Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, or the Moravia Food Pantry.
