Palmyra formerly of Newark - Eugene E. Garneret, 87, entered eternity on Monday (February 4, 2013) at Newark-Wayne Community Hospital.
Family and friends may call Thursday (Feb. 7) from 10 to 11 a.m. at Norman L. Waterman Funeral Home Inc., 124 W. Miller St., Newark, followed by a Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Newark Cemetery, N. Main St., Newark.

Eugene was born the son of the late Joseph and Catherine (Dengler) Garneret on Monday, May 18, 1925 in Buffalo, N.Y.
Eugene will be remembered by his brother, George Garneret of Buffalo; several nieces and nephews; many friends of the Wayne ARC.
Eugene was predeceased by his wife, Helen (Johnson) Garneret in 1997; sisters, Alice LaBarr in 2009 and Elizabeth Wierzbicki in 1983; brother, William Garneret in 1983.
