A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Mon. (Feb. 4) at the Western Presbyterian Church of Palmyra. Private interment will be in East Palmyra Cemetery.

The funeral home proudly flies the United States Navy flag in honor of Bob's service to our country in the Pacific Theater during WWII. Bob had retired from NYSEG in Newark as a chief lineman after 39 years of service. He was a member and elder of Western Presbyterian Church of Palmyra, a member of the Masonic Drumlin Lodge, the August MauerAmerican Legion Post 286, the Newark Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Newark Gun Club. Besides his family and friends, his favorite thoughts were of springer spaniels, oak trees and hunting and camping memories.
He is survived by his wife, Madelyn (Galloway) Jagger; and two sons, Kenneth (Lisa) Jagger of Palmyra and Bradley (Cindy) Jagger of Michigan; eight grandchildren, Stacy (JT) Tunnicliff, Kendra (Rich) Lilly, Jennifer (Justin) Dudley,Phillip (Tanya) Jagger, Caitlin (Scot) Laney, Daniel Jagger, Jeffrey Jagger and LT. Sarah Jagger USN; 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
He was predeceased by his parents Kenneth and Elsa Jagger of Marion.
