Juan "Johnny" DeJesus

LODI - Juan "Johnny" DeJesus, age 86, longtime resident of East Seneca Street in Lodi, died on Saturday (January 26, 2013) at Huntington Living Center in Waterloo.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 to Noon on Tuesday (January 29) at Covert Funeral Home, 7199 So. Main Street in Ovid. A funeral service, led by his nephew will be held at Noon at the funeral home, prayers of committal will be held at West Lodi Cemetery.
John was born on August 29, 1926 in Coamo, Puerto Rico, a son of the late Juan and Ramona Rolon DeJesus. He moved to the United States and started a long career with Seneca Army Depot as an explosives operator, retiring in 1990 after 44 years of service.
John is survived by his nephews, Leandro Colon, Ruben (Rosa) Colon and their families, all of Rochester; a sister, and his extended family in Puerto Rico.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Julie in 1999.
