Anna Roat Frankish CANANDAIGUA - Anna Frankish, age 95, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013. Friends may call on Saturday, January 26, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Reed Corners Federated Church. A memorial service will follow at 3 p.m. at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Reed Corners Federated Church, 4030 Route 247, Canandaigua, NY 14424. Anna was the daughter of the late Grover and Idabelle Watkins Roat. She was an active member of Reed Corners Federated Church and a former Sunday school teacher there. She was a past president of Finger Lakes American Baptist Women's Ministries and Reed Corners Federated Church's Ladies Aid Society. Anna was also a member of the Gideon International Ladies' Auxiliary. She was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star and member of the Rebekah Lodge. Anna had also been a member of Ontario County Home Bureau. Anna and Herb made several trips to Haiti to work with missionary friends. Many winters were spent in Florida, first with the Seminole Indians and later at a retirement campground where she was an active member of a painting group. Anna loved arranging flowers when she wasn't growing and preserving fruits and vegetables for the family. Anna was predeceased by her husband, Herbert J. Frankish in 2003; and sister, Frances Frankish. She is survived by her daughter, Faye (William) Bailey of Schenectady, N.Y.; son, Dale (Donna) Frankish of Reed Corners; four grandchildren, Lorae (Alejandro) Yesaki, Shelby (Edward) Seymour III, Douglas Frankish and Mary (Dave LaFleur) Frankish; three great-grandchildren, Alejandro Yesaki, Trevor Seymour and Daylin Seymour; and several nieces and nephews. Arrangements are with Kenneth J. Perkins Funeral Home in Gorham.
