LYONS - Paul R. Johns, 74, passed away on Wednesday (January 16, 2013) at Newark-Wayne Community Hospital.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday (Jan. 19) at 1 p.m. in Rural Cemetery (Spencer St.), Lyons.
For those wishing, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in his memory.
Paul was born December 30, 1938 in Macedon, a son of the late Arthur and Edna Ressiew Johns. He was a veteran of the Army during the Vietnam Conflict. John retired from Garlocks and was a member of the Lyons American Legion Post 227.
He is survived by his brother, Kenneth (Zelda) Johns of Wash.; sister, Marjorie (Robert) Gunkler of Phelps; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Darlene and Steven Stell.
Predeceased by his wife Karen in September of 2003.
Arrangements were entrusted to Weeks-Keysor Funeral Home, Lyons.
