Barbara J. Bogart, 73, of Henderson Lane, died at her home on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013. Born in Syracuse on Jan. 10, 1940, Barb was one of triplets born to Millard and Florence Gleason Keenly. She had previously been employed with the base exchange at Hancock Air Base, Syracuse. She was a member of the Church of The Nazarene of Auburn. Barb was an avid baseball fan of both the New York Yankees and Auburn Doubledays. She enjoyed both jigsaw and crossword puzzles. Barbara is survived by her husband, Clinton, with whom she celebrated her 50th wedding anniversary on Oct. 27, 2012; three sons, Clinton (Terri) Bogart Jr., of Jordan, Robert (Linda) Bogart, of Massachusetts and David (Cheryl) Bogart, of Maine; five grandchildren, Sherri, John, Jessica, Becky and Amanda; three sisters, Florence Brandt, of Arizona, Joyce Houck and Sandra (Kenneth) Bogart, all of Seneca Falls, several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Bogart was predeceased by a daughter, Jeanette M. Bogart; a sister, Phyllis Chaffee and a brother, Richard Keenly. A Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, at the Auburn Church of the Nazarene, 3360 East Genesee St., Auburn. Burial will be in Woodlawn National Cemetery, Elmira. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mrs. Barbara Bogart may be made to the mortgage fund of the Church of the Nazarene. Funeral arrangements are with White Chapel Funeral Home, 2719 Erie Drive, Weedsport.
