NEWARK/CLIFTON SPRINGS - Helen M. Kneut, age 83, passed away on Thursday (January 10, 2013) at the Clifton Springs Hospital.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday (Jan. 14) at the Patrick Funeral Home, 26 West Main Street, Clifton Springs. Mass will be held 11:30 a.m., Tuesday (Jan. 15) at St. Felix Church. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Riverview Cemetery.
Friends may contribute to the Clifton Springs Hospital or the House of John in Helen's memory.
Helen was born March 29, 1929 in Geneva, N.Y. the daughter of the late Burr and Ida Morse. She enjoyed flowers, gardening and music. In her spare time, Helen liked reading and doing crossword and jigsaw puzzles. But most important to Helen was spending time with her family, especially her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was devoted to them all and will be sadly missed.
Helen is survived by her children, Phillip (Judy) Kneut of Clifton Springs, Kathleen (Steve) Roeland of Clifton Springs, Theresa (Bobby) Dorgan of Phelps, Christine Shields of N.C., Cindy (Kirk) McCreary of Syracuse and David (Lori) Kneut of Va.; grandchildren, Lee Kneut, Kelly (Peter) Tubbs, Jenny (Matt) Clark, Justin Roeland, Katie Roeland, Carrie (Sean) St. Pierre, Jamie Dorgan, Cory Shields, Kyle Shields, Ryan McCreary, Nicholas McCreary, Benjamin McCreary, Brad Kneut and Eric (Audrey) Kneut; great-grandchildren, Ashley Tubbs, Joshua Tubbs, Emilie Clark, Matthew Clark, Olivia St. Pierre and Amelia Kneut; sisters, Pauline Waugh and Clara Hoven.
Helen is predeceased by her siblings, Carl Morse, Irene Waugh, Harold Morse, Ida Wilson and Esther Dewind.
