Lyons - Christine M. Jansen, 85, entered eternity on Tuesday (January 8, 2013) at Newark Manor Nursing Home.
Fulfilling Mrs. Jansen's wishes all services will be private. Burial in Fairville Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

Mrs. Jansen was born the daughter of the late John and Mary (Cuveliek) Wisse on Saturday, June 18, 1927 in Williamson, N.Y. She graduated from Marion High School in 1945. For many years she worked at the Newark Schools as a Nurses Aid. Mrs. Jansen was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Newark. Some of Mrs. Jansen's interest was camping, reading and helping the Cub Scots with different assignments.
Mrs. Jansen will be remembered by her loving husband of 65 years, Clifford Jansen; sons, Randy (Stacey) Jansen of Seneca Falls and Rick (Sallie) Jansen of Tenn.; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild; sisters, Phyllis (Jack) Lewis of Marion and June Middlebrook of Canandaigua; several nieces.
